Find Emergency Safety and Shelter at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission
At the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, we are dedicated to helping women and children find a safe place, a refuge, together as a family. We provide for the basic needs —shelter, food, safety —when women have nowhere else to go. Since 2017, we’ve seen a 47% increase in individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis and in need of emergency services. Many women are escaping violence and abuse at home with young children; here, they find a safe refuge with plenty of room for their children, too.
With help from generous donors and the services of our incredible team, we offer an escape for women and children facing violence and abuse at home. This safety is vital to their survival and would not be possible without God’s grace and blessings upon the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.

How Do Your Gifts Help the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission?
Your gifts make it possible for the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to provide shelter for women and children experiencing poverty, homelessness, and escaping violence.
With your help, we can offer:
- Assistance for mothers to rebuild their family and find safe and secure housing
- Safe shelter for 60+ women and children within the Women and Children’s Shelter
- Basic needs supplies for families
Supplies and Donations for the Women and Children’s Shelter
It is with the help of gracious donors like you that we can offer families in need a safe place to rest their heads, along with meeting their basic needs so that they have what it takes to start fresh. We can help women with the steppingstones required to get back on their feet and move forward toward a stable, safe future.
Donations to the Women and Children’s Shelter do not have to be monetary. Items that we always need include:
- Baby items: diapers, wipes, clothing
- School supplies: backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons
- Toiletries: deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, combs, brushes, feminine hygiene, tissues, toilet paper
