Since 1971, the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission has restored lives and renewed hope for men, women, and children in our community—and today, we return to where it all began.
Decades ago, the Mission first opened its doors on the very ground where the New Life Resale Boutique #2 is now taking shape. On this site, thousands found meals, shelter, prayer, and a path toward rebuilding their lives. It is only fitting that this new chapter be dedicated to two leaders who poured their hearts into making that possible—Darla Burkett and Sue Meyers. Their decades of faithful service, compassion, and vision guided this Mission through seasons of growth and transformation. To honor their extraordinary legacy, we are launching a Capital Campaign to name this building in their honor.

For our clients, it means something even greater: hands-on job skills training and real workforce development experience that equips them for lasting independence.
