Your donated items, sold at the boutique, help to fund our programs and services while providing affordable, quality goods for our community.
Coachella Valley Rescue Mission’s New Life Resale Boutique is staffed by our clients, giving them the gift of a new chance at life. In addition to our in-person shopping opportunities, we also have an eBay store for those who prefer the comforts of shopping from home.

Donations to the New Life Resale Boutique
Your donations of gently used items, including clothing, kitchen items, household wares, sporting goods, tools, or business-related items, are of great value to our mission. These donated items can be a valuable, helpful part of the ministries of the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, moving beyond used items to be the start of something new for a person in need.
The homeless and poverty-stricken community members here in the Coachella Valley rely on your help and the donations that you generously provide for our endeavors.
Your donations of gently used items and goods help us to provide free clothes and other basic needs goods to those in need, restoring dignity and hope in the face of hardship. With your donations, our facility becomes a place of training and a service opportunity. Working at the New Life Resale Boutique provides the chance for our clients to learn work-related skills, responsibility, and customer service.
Not only do we use your donations to provide for those in need, but the sale of some of your donations funds essentials for living and is the means for life-changing programs at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
What Does Gently Used Mean?
When evaluating your items for donation, ask three questions:
- Is it usable?
- Does it work?
- Is it broken?
Resale Boutique Staff and clients do not have the means to make repairs to items, so we ask that you not donate any items that are in ill repair or that need to be renewed. Items that are stained, broken, or unusable end up in the dump, requiring our team to spend money to dispose of them. Please keep this in mind with all donations.
