Rapid Rehousing is an intervention and a Housing First approach for individuals and families that are homeless in the community. CVRM’s Rapid Rehousing Program connects Families and individuals experiencing homelessness to permanent Housing. We provide rental assistance, case management, and supportive services for those experiencing homelessness living on the streets, or in emergency shelters. CVRM Rapid Rehousing is an important part of the community’s response to homelessness. Our goal is to reduce the amount of time a person remains homeless and to ensure the clients are able to retain their permanent housing.
Rapid Rehousing Clients are referral-based through the Riverside County Coordinated Entry System called Home Connect. Homeless individuals and Families need to complete an assessment that will be stored in the Riverside County Home Connect database. This database allows Riverside County Home Connect to link Homeless people to housing resources and services that may become available.
The homeless assessments can be completed at the CVRM Housing Department from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. every Friday.
