Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to Hold Annual
“Back-To-School-Backpack Give Away”
The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission will hold it’s “Back to School Backpack Giveaway” at 8:00 am, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Van Buren Elementary School, multi-purpose room. The Mission sponsors this event each year in an effort to ensure that children in need get a successful start to the school year!
*CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT, AND PARENTS MUST HAVE CHILDREN WITH THEM TO RECEIVE ANY SCHOOL SUPPLIES*
We would like to request community donations of backpacks and school supplies. Below is a list of suggested items needed:
Backpacks, Safety scissors, Dictionaries, Pencils, Notebook Paper, Glue Sticks, Crayons, Pencil Holders, Protractors, School Glue, Spiral Notebooks, 3-Ring Notebooks, Felt-Tip Markers, Colored Pencils, Legal Pads, Erasers, Blue/Black Pens, K-3 Writing Tablet, Pencil Sharpeners, Subject Dividers, Calculators
Please deliver filled backpacks to the Mission by Wednesday, August 25th.
